1965Page 5,148 of 5,444
Peter recounted that incident:
We joined the queue to Baba's feet, and eventually I was before him being introduced to him and then my head was on his feet. This moment of bowing down, in my case, is one of absolute forgetfulness. It was as if I was so totally submerged in the Beloved that my mind had ceased to operate. To this day I cannot say what the experience of bowing down to Baba's feet was, except to say that I was totally lost in him and that it was unutterable joy.
